because i make s*** like this happen.

people wanted a 2step, i said i could show them an easy way.

no one in my little circle wanted to believe me.

so told Stu, and with him being all video happy and attentive, this happened.

thats the desired effect.

an cost-effect/vary effective boost builder for the turbo guys, and a kick-a**-fun-time flame shooter for the SC guys.

yea.

your running a "normal" 3800 ECU, rite?

i'll pull up a tune file and see if its got whats needed.

with how little exhasut that car has, it would be AWESOME.

I dont know exactly how a 2step rev limiter works?  Does it just limit the amount of RPMS when the clutch is pressed via spark?  So when you hit the 2step rev limiter your dumping tons of fuel that ignites on the hot exhaust valves and shoots flame?

well, there's two ways to do it.

a turbo-minded 2-step would cut fuel and still fire spark as the fuel thats sprayed is pitched into the exhaust track. thus igniting and helping to kick up the turbo.

the way the WOT box's and more RPM consistent 2-steps work is via spark.

its a much faster, and consistent way to do things but it wont spool a turbo.

however, this thing rite here is a hybrid of both.

yup, looked at the tables from a stock 3800 ecm tonight.

should be do-able.

now this may seem totally retarded but what would be the performance gains for an SC with this? its sick and all, but right now its about bang-for-buck

I have learned recently that honda and toyota owners buy those cars for a reason. That reason is because they really truly know nothing about cars, and they think that by buying a japanese car they can simply turn away any potential car talk with "well my car is japanese, so it's better than yours"

none for you.

for anything besides a larger turbo equipped car, this would be pointless.

its more just foor a cool factor if you want it.

is this where the fuel blows up in the exhaust manifold and makes the turbo spin faster so that turbo lag is reduced? I can't see the video, it's blocked at work. If it's what i'm thinking, ive seen many a DSM do this.
